Alex is a serial entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience building companies. He’s currently Founder & Chief Editor at The Aleph where he writes and consults on disruptive technology and its consequences for business. He’s also co-founder and associated editor at Tech.eu, the most important technology publication in Europe.

Prior to that, he was running one of the top storytelling agencies in Europe called Press42. During this period he worked with startups and corporates alike, sometimes working with more than 2000 startups per year helping them raise money, scale and grow their businesses.

Previously he co-founded the first pre-acceleration startup program in Europe called Tetuan Valley, as well as Startupbootcamp Europe, the first Pan-European startup acceleration program in the continent. He’s worked as a mentor in more than 14 accelerator programs worldwide including Wayra, Startupbootcamp, Seedcamp or TechStars.

Alex is a well-known international speaker, moderator and stage host in some of the largest tech conferences in Europe, including several TEDx talks or The Economist Summit. He’s a professor of innovation at IE Business School, teaching at the Global Executive MBA and IE Venture Lab. He’s a Marketing Masters professor at UC3M as well as guest lecturer at UCLA Anderson and UC Berkeley and a former member of Global Shapers by World Economic Forum.

He’s a part-time investor and business angel and he sits on the board of several startups and associations, among them, the Spanish National Startup Association, which he helped start three years ago.
